Resources on 1 Corinthians
In 1 Corinthians Paul is writing to a church that had many wrong ideas and practices. He shows that they needed to constantly come back to the gospel and to the cross of Christ. We too must check all our church activities so that all that we do and think, and attempt to do, is consistent with that basic gospel of our salvation. This lovely epistle will also remind us what it means to be truly human. To be a true human being, as God designed human beings to be, is to be a new creation. Redeemed from the great disaster of sin that has overtaken our fallen world, we are in process of being restored to the very image of God as we were originally created. In Christ we shall all be made alive, and God will give us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
