Resources on Exodus
How do we know that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God? What evidence is there for the story of the redemption that he has provided by his death at Calvary, his resurrection and ascension into heaven? How do we know it’s true? Among the evidence is the story of the exodus and God’s provision for his people as they journeyed to their promised land. When we then read the New Testament, we can see how it did indeed point to him. In this Christian age, the tabernacle helps us by being ‘a shadow of the good things to come’, through which to see and identify him; and thus enjoy not only our Lord himself and the work he has done, but those glorious parts of salvation that are illustrated in the Old Testament and fulfilled in the New.
